Among the very best in Europe

SOS International’s roadside assistance has been named one of the best in Europe.

Two skillful roadside assistance workers from the Danish roadside assistance network SOS Dansk Autohjælp brought home a very fine sixth place from this year's Road Patrol Training for Excellence.

The aim of the event is to increase the overall standard of roadside assistance services by providing an opportunity for exchange on best practices and latest developments in the market.

SOS International’s participation secures competence development across our Nordic roadside assistance network, and this enables us to deliver the best possible services across our markets.

For four days the attendants participated in workshops and training - and they competed in practical tests like battery diagnostics, troubleshooting and customer care. On the third day the theme was green mobility, and the day was spent with theory about electric bicycles, high voltage cars, component measurement etc.

Local press showed great interest in the event and in the new SOS Dansk Autohjælp service vehicle which, amongst other, is equipped with a charger for electrical vehicles.

About Road Patrol Training for Excellence

The Road Patrol Training for Excellence event took place from 11 to 14 October in Luxemburg. The event is hosted by Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL).

14 road patrol teams from 13 countries across Europe and one team from Botswana participated. SOS International took part on behalf of Danish motor club FDM.
