SOS International A/S appoints new CEO

Update: Jan Sigurdur Christensen takes up the position by 1 March 2022.

Jan Sigurdur Christensen will take up the position as CEO of SOS International on 1 April 2022. Amund Skarholt, Chairman of the Board of Directors, is very pleased that SOS International has managed to attract such a strong profile.

Jan Sigurdur Christensen will replace the acting CEO of SOS International, Jesper Mørch Sørensen, and take up the position by 1 April 2022 at the latest.

“In Jan Sigurdur Christensen, we have appointed a highly competent new CEO. Jan possesses considerable experience in managing Scandinavian service businesses, takes a commercial approach to his work and has experience from complex environments working with owners, stakeholders and employees. He has a sharp eye for customers and is a very experienced manager with a modern management style,” says Amund Skarholt, Chairman at SOS International.

Jan Sigurdur Christensen comes from a position as Chief Commercial Officer, EVP of DSB and has many years of experience from SAS.
