Extension of Group Management

SOS International extends Group Management to also include human resource and communications.

Annette Engmose will join SOS International by August 1 as Executive Vice President with the responsibility for HR and Communication, which means an extension of Group Management to seven members going forward.

Annette Engmose has a background from the travel and leisure industries and comes with senior experience within HR and cultural transition. She also has experience as Managing Director and headhunter.

Bringing human resource and communication into Group Management marks an increased focus on culture, communication, and collaboration across SOS International.

- Annette Engmose brings solid experience within traditional HR, but she also brings a modern approach to people and leadership of people and organisations, says Jan Sigurdur Christensen, CEO, SOS International A/S.

- I look very much forward to meet all and in collaboration gather the organisation around the core purpose and to work with leadership, competencies, and a shared culture to strengthen SOS International’s future development, says Annette Engmose.

The announcement of Annette Engmose as new EVP marks the third c-level recruitment for CEO, Jan Sigurdur Christensen, who joined SOS International on March 1.
